Videobolt is a curated motion-graphic design marketplace and online video editor created to help you take creative control over the video you’re buying without any other software or previous knowledge, saving you lots of time and money. For video authors this means a much wider, non-expert audience hungry for video.
How are you different?
Most online video services are inflexible with no way to adapt the video to the user’s content. Our users have much more control over the end product with a range of project-specific customizations such as colors, lighting and effects, textures and more. We dedicated a lot of attention to easing the process of project submissions without imposing creative restrictions. We support projects created in After Effects and provide a script to help authors organize projects in order to be compatible with Videobolt. Since our authors never sell or reveal their actual project files they are insured against piracy or illegitimate resellers. Our marketplace is curated to prevent copycat and sub-par projects. Why will the company / product do well?
Video is becoming ubiquitous online as both content and a means of advertising. There is a large, vibrant market for video eye-candy, but smaller businesses or independent creators might not have the time or budget required to produce it. On Videobolt you can find both bombastic and professional motion-graphics and produce stunning brand videos, no matter the size of your budget, and we know that this is a service many need.
What type of people are you trying to attract to your product?
At this point our primary audiences are small businesses, streamers and digital marketers. We’d also like to invite everyone experienced with After Effects to join Videobolt as authors. We will expand the marketplace offer significantly and expect to attract musicians, independent filmmakers… We’ll see where it goes from there.
Tell us about your team?
Videobolt is developed by nine people and amongst us we have experience in studio VFX, coding, design and online business. We’ve all known each other for several years now, some of us going back to high-school.
What are you long term plans for your product / company?
Bring in more and more authors to the marketplace and create a vibrant community of video professionals and those working with video. Work with the community on expanding the variety of designs on offer and continually improving and upgrading the capabilities of our service. We aspire to become a go-to marketplace for video eye-candy.
